One does not usually linger on a staircase, they are non-spaces, places of passage.

They lead to, they suggest, they introduce.

They have personality.

The stairs from this series hold stories. They were often explored in person, documented, photographed. The collected stairs are reappropriated through paper structures, becoming delicate objects, slightly imperfect sculptures. Mementos from a place or miniature sites for imagination.
